Romney Cousins
Family at Funeral

Well, this last month has been eventful for us. A few weeks ago my grandmother passed away, so I had the opportunity to go to Arizona for her funeral. She was a wonderful lady and I am so grateful to her for being such a wonderful grandmother! I hope to be like her some day.

Last week we went camping with my family near Preston, Idaho called Willow Flat Campground. It was beautiful!! We enjoyed a hike up to some natural springs not too far from our camp site. It was funny, our camp-site was surrounded by creeks; therefore we had to cross a plank to get to the campground. It was quite fun. We finally got to use our new tent which we enjoyed. It was a struggle to get Xander to stay in his little dog den, but he eventually obeyed.

This last weekend we went to Lagoon with my parents. Joe and I really enjoyed the new 'Wicked' ride. I remember when I was younger it was so cool to stay all day into the night and ride every ride at least twice. This time we ended up going home early because it got too windy, but we felt satisfied with what we were able to ride. I guess we are just getting old!!

Investment

The great thing about living in Logan is that everything is very close. Joe has been riding his bike around town every summer to work and school for the past few years and due to the rise in gas prices we purchased a new bike for me. It's been great so far! Joe and I have been able to ride our bikes to see movies and go to dinner. However, about a week ago I went on a bike ride with a friend and I could not keep up for the life of me! I just kept pedaling and pedaling and she was just coasting along. Needless to say, I was about worn out only 10-15 minutes into our bike ride. We finally traded bikes and she figured out that my front brakes were rubbing against my tire. So, basically my front tire was barely moving. We disabled the front brake and I was amazed at the difference! I felt a lot better about the ride once that was figured out. I'm not as big of a wimp as I thought! Anyways, I brought it home and my wonderful husband adjusted my brakes and now I can even keep up with him! It's been fun to get some exercise and enjoy the nice weather. So, if anyone wants to go for a bike ride I am game!

Free Weekend

Well, this weekend was great! It was my first Saturday and Sunday that I didn't have to work or that we weren't going anywhere. I woke up Saturday and asked Joe, "So, what are we going to do today?" He said, "Amy, it's Saturday, you can do whatever you want". What an amazing idea! It was great to be able to just relax and have no agenda. It was also great to spend time at home with Joe. For some reason, that doesn't happen too much.
I also enjoyed going to our ward. It's been over two months that I have gone to our ward.
I wish I had more exciting news and adventures to write about, but this is as good as it gets for now!

Hello to all! I have been encouraged for a while from quite a few people to start a blog. I was threatened earlier today if I didn't, so I thought I would give it a whirl.
As of right now Joe and I are kind of boring and predictable. Joe is taking summer classes for his Master's Degree in Accounting and will graduate this December! YEA!!!! And then he has to tackle the CPA exam which we hear is brutal.
I am currently working at Logan Regional Hospital in the ER as an RN. I really enjoy it. It's amazing how much I learn on a daily basis. And it is definetely always entertaining. I've got some great stories!!
We are planning on moving to Salt Lake in December. We are not exactly sure where yet. Joe wants to move close to where I plan on working, so it's still a little early to start looking for a new job yet. I'm sure the next few months will be very adventurous.
We love our cute little dog Xander. He's our practice at parenting for now.
