Holiday Fun

We had a great Christmas with family. We celebrated with the Romney's beforehand and enjoyed doing Advent, which was a tradition we always did while growing up. We also call it "Preparing our Hearts for Christmas". We enjoy reading scriptures leading up to the birth of Christ. It helps us keep in mind the true meaning of the holiday. We also celebrated Joe's 31st birthday in December as well. I took him to Rodizio Grill.
Happy Birthday Daddy! Ellie gave him a Bronoco's blanket. He loves it!!
Christmas at the Romney's
Opening presents We went to Green River this year to spend time with Joe's Family. We enjoyed some sledding, card playing, and time together.
Christmas Eve. Ellie was super excited for Santa to come!
Christmas Morning
I think it was more fun opening Ellie's presents. She got a high chair from us, which we didn't take with us. We also got her a few toys. She was happy with the teething ones!
Santa gave us some Marshmallow guns which was a lot of fun.
Cutest Santa Ever!! Merry Christmas Ellie
Our First Christmas together. Ellie is the greatest gift we have ever received! We feel very blessed.
Sledding fun. For those of you wondering, we pretty much just sat in the sled for this pic. Ellie did not go sledding.
Ellie and Grandpa Fail. So sweet
Xander enjoyed the snow as well. He looks like a deer prancing around through it. Love this guy! In December, we also took Ellie to her first basketball game. UVU vs. Utah State. We bought her some ear protectors. She is pretty darn cute in them!!
Daddy laughing at Ellie. She makes things so much more fun!
This is what Ellie thought of the game:) Ellie is 4 months old now. She weighed in at 14.9 lbs and 25 in long. We are looking forward to being sealed to her in March. She has started rolling all over and has found her thumb. Hopefully, we can keep her from getting too attached to it.
At the Dr.'s office. I love all of her rolls.
Her thumb has been discovered!
Ellie in her Snow suit. Thanks Aunt Cathy.
Having fun looking in the mirror with Mommy!
This makes me laugh!
Ellie's first time rolling over! Way to go Ellie!!
Always wondering what Mom is up to. While we were in Green River, we got family pictures taken in the snow. Here are a few.
The Fail Clan
The whole Family
Our little Fam
Cute grandkids

This one is our favorite
One more of all of us
Ellie's New Bronco's gear from Grandpa and Grandma Fail. The cutest cheerleader!
I had to share this one too. I love her angry face:) We love you all and hope you have a great New Year!

Ellie is grown up so fast. She's such a cutie. We just finalized Charlotte's adoption on Monday. We're getting sealed in the Draper Temple. Adoption is amazing. Congrats on your March date. Such an amazing experience.
